The role

Are you seeking a role which offers you the opportunity to contribute to increasing cycling and walking across Greater Manchester?

Reporting to the Cycling Engagement Manager, you will provide support across the Active Travel Programme. This includes assisting with engagement at workplaces, school and colleges, organising and attending events to promote active travel, and undertaking analysis of surveys.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to promoting the benefits of active travel. You will need to have experience of organising and running events and have good communication skills, being able to engage a variety of audiences. You should also have experience of working with local authorities, the private sector and transport industry partners. This is an excellent development opportunity and we are keen to receive applications from a range of experiences, and would be an ideal role for a new graduate looking to enter into the transport profession.
