We are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active project manager / programme sponsor who has a passion for delivery and making our Local Transport Plan happen on the ground. Now is a particularly exciting time to join the authority with the recent award of £7mn+ from The Emergency Active Travel Fund to provide a step change in cycling provision.

The breadth of schemes you will act as sponsor for may include revitalising town centres with urban realm improvements, helping the Covid-19 economic recovery through interventions which increase walking and cycling, as well as road safety schemes which contribute to reducing injury accidents on our network

You will work collaboratively with our consultant and delivery partners to ensure delivery as well as engaging with local elected members and key stakeholders across a number of organisations.
