We are recruiting a Public Transport Support Officer alongside Transport Strategy and Project Officers to our growing climate, transport, and planning team. Join the Torbay story and help deliver carbon neutrality and improved accessibility in Torbay.

As a Public Transport Support Officer, you will work as part of our team and also across the Council, to improve the provision of public transport for residents and visitors to Torbay. You will have a role to play across the public transport remit - from managing existing services, ensuring subsidies are claimed and paid, and that there is compliance with legal requirements and contracts, to developing new services to meet the needs of users current or future; or from working with operators to improve customer experience, to ensuring the infrastructure the Council provides is fit for purpose and attractive to the user - you will contribute to all of this through the management and implementation of the Bus Service Improvement Plan.

You will also help administer the new Torbay Bus Enhanced Partnership, encourage new ideas and identify opportunities to promote and enhance the provision locally.
