We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer, Active Travel to work on a part-time basis, 18.5 hours a week. This role will be based in Keynsham, with flexible working arrangements available.
About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity as a part-time Senior Engineer for Active Travel developing walking, cycling and wheeling schemes across Bath & North East Somerset.
This exciting post will involve working with key internal and external partners to develop and deliver a co-ordinated and effective programme of active travel schemes, including managing consultants.
About you
We are looking for a motivated individual experienced in developing and delivering a wide range of active travel schemes to assist walking, cycling and wheeling. To support you we are also recruiting three assistant engineers/technical officers.
Our district offers you a great place to live and work, having a stunning blend of countryside, villages, and towns as well as the City of Bath, a World Heritage Site.
Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
