Transport Strategy Officer
Salary: £34,723 - £37,261 (pay award pending)
Full Time 37 hours
Based at Alltami, Mold with Agile Working

You will influence policy at a local, regional and national level but also help Flintshire’s residents and workers get from A to B by delivering transport schemes that meet our decarbonisation targets.

We have a track record in Wales to be proud of and our Transport Strategy Team has a wide remit. We are responsible for traffic engineering, transport policy & planning, active travel, road safety and new infrastructure delivery - including developing business cases, submitting grant funding bids, project management, highway design and site supervision. Skilful relationship building will be an important skill as you will be working with the government, Transport for Wales, developers, councillors and town & community councils.
