About the role

The Operational Service is part of the newly restructured Commercial and Operations Business Unit.

Within the service sits the Highways and Traffic Management functions which includes the Highway Inspection Team.

You will be responsible for managing a small team of Highway Inspectors. Together you will provide a borough wide inspection regime and through introducing a program of proactive monitoring ensure that consistent inspection standards are maintained.

In achieving the above you will work closely with the Commissioning and Client and Enforcement arms of the service, contractors, elected members, Homes for Haringey and residents and businesses within the borough.

About you

We are looking for a self motivated individual who has experiencing of leading and managing a busy operational team and providing vision and direction.

You must have the ability to drive staff development by setting clear measurable targets that are monitored through a robust performance management framework.
