About the role

The Operational Service is part of the newly restructured Commercial and Operations Business Unit.

Within the service sits the Highways and Traffic Management functions which includes the Highway Inspection Team.

The post holders will be responsible for all inspection activities related to the Highways Service. This will include carrying out a regular programme of inspections within a specified area; checking the quality and quantity of works being carried out by contractors and ensuring the accuracy of invoices submitted for payment.

In achieving the above you will work closely with the Commissioning and Client and Enforcement arms of the service, contractors, elected members, Homes for Haringey and residents and businesses within the borough.

About you

We are looking individuals who are organised, have good problem solving skills and can understand and use data effectively.

Self motivated and experience of working in a performance driven environment.
