Principal Transportation Officer

Salary - £32,486 - £38,099

We’re looking for a Principal Transportation Officer to join our Infrastructure & Highways Service at Cheshire East Council. You will provide the ideas, skills and creativity to develop and deliver place-based transport strategies across the borough – working with a wide range of stakeholders to understand local transport challenges and develop innovative solutions. The Council has adopted a new Local Plan with ambitious policies for growth, sustainability and quality of life. You will be responsible for developing policies, strategies and funding bids plus managing the deliver of schemes to encourage greater use of sustainable modes of transport.
