A Senior Transport Modeller is required by our client in Surrey to join their leading transport modelling team.

Degree qualified in a relevant subject, and preferably Chartered or well on the way, candidates must have gained extensive experience of SATURN modelling, to include network building, matrix development, calibration and validation, and forecasting / option tests. in addition, you should have excellent experience in the anlysis and application of survey data for the development of models. It would be an advantage to have some experience on one or more of the following : COBALT, MyRIAD, TUBA, VISSIM or S-PARAMICS. Extensive WebTAG experience is also required.

The position will involve the management of projects or sub projects to quality, cost and time. You will use your extensive SATURN modelling skills which will involve model development, calibration and validation. Some team management and the training and supervision of junior staff will also be required, as will the production of high quality technical notes and reports.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Career prospects are excellent for an enthusiastic and energetic person. The basic salary is negotiable, but probably in the region of £37-44,000 p.a., depending on experience, together with a comprehensive flexible benefits package.
