Salary - £40,614 - £43,815 per annum.
Permanent, Full -Time, 36 hours per week.

About the Team
Exciting things are happening here in Hounslow. We’re embarking upon a major programme of change to modernise how we work and reduce our carbon footprint. Our diverse team is finding all sorts of ways to make our borough an even better place to be for our residents and visitors alike. Reporting to the EV Project Manager within the Transport Programme Management and Strategy team, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver one of London’s most ambitious Electric Vehicle Charging programmes.
Key Responsibilities
The council’s recently approved EV Charging Strategy includes a target to implement over 2000 new charging points by 2026. As our EV Project Officer, you will take on responsibility for the council’s lamp column charger rollout, as well as assisting with other aspects of the programme. This will include liaising with the Charge Point Operators to confirm site feasibility, undertaking public engagement on the sites and monitoring contracts and project outcomes.
Your Skills
You’ll have good knowledge and understanding of best practice in the planning and delivery of electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You will bring with you transport/parking project management experience within an urban setting, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to budget. You’ll also have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well an ability to engage well with stakeholders.
Essential for the Role
HND/Degree in a transport related subject or comparable qualification/experience.
