The County Council has an agenda that seeks to secure sustainable economic growth supported through investment in transport infrastructure. An exciting opportunity has arisen within an ambitious local authority that is committed to delivering excellent transport infrastructure and services.

The role will offer you the opportunity to shape the future transport network of the County and continue the momentum on delivering key transport infrastructure investment. As an effective communicator and negotiator you will be confi dent operating at all levels with key political figures and internal/external stakeholders. You will be a strategic thinker, able to develop influential policy and briefings and have high level analytical skills. You will also need to be creative and innovative in developing transport solutions to address complex transport problems. You will have the desire to continue the excellent track record of the Authority on transport investment and have the potential and desire to develop into the rail lead for
the County Council in the near future.
