An ambitious Transport Planner is required by our client, a very successful multi-discipline consultancy, to join their team in Berkshire.

You will have around one to four years post graduate experience, with a good understanding of transport issues associated with development planning. Experience of preparing and delivering Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Appeals is essential. Additionally, traffic data analysis and presentation skills are required. Experience should have been gained in the use of computer software such as ARCADY, OSCADY, TRICS, TRANSYT and / or LinSig, etc., and you should also be reasonably proficient with MS applications.

A degree in a related subject is essential, and an M.Sc or further transport planning or relevant post graduate qualifications in addition is desirable, but not essential.  Working towards Chartered status will be viewed favourably by our client. The successful candidate will be numerate with excellent technical report writing skills, and possess outstanding verbal and oral communications when advising and updating the clients. Contributing to identifying new client opportunities and bid / tendering work will be encouraged.

Prospects to progress are excellent. The basic salary is negotiable, but probably in the region of £27-36,000 p.a., depending on experience, together with a comprehensive benefits package.
