This will involve working with engineering, transport and engagement specialists, including in-house experts and specialist sub-contractors and consultancy teams.
You will be expected to understand the needs of the project, to develop and maintain a project plan for all those involved, and to deal with day to day needs including troubleshooting and dealing with correspondence. You should be able to write reports and consultation documents in a clear and concise style ready for use. Comfortable engaging with elected officials, even occasionally outside of normal hours. Able to liaise across disciplines and at all levels.
With this multi-million pound project at an early stage, you will have the opportunity to make your mark. The successful candidate will need to be well organised, with good relevant experience of project management. Well able to assimilate and help improve schedules, budgets and technical drawings.
